On the Road Again
Well, soon anyway. This Bitter Moon has stayed within a stationary phase long enough and I’m just plain bitter about it. It’s time to make plans, set goals, look to the stars for guidance and get my full moon out of here.
My house is going up for sale and, come this summer, I’m packing up my torch and kiln. I’ll turn a van into a workshop/living space and travel the US doing art shows, meeting new people, keeping a video diary, and surrounding myself with my muse--mother nature.
The adventure starts now, however. There is tons to do and much to learn. First thing on the agenda? Paying off all my debt. 3 credit cards down, 4 to go (ouch)! I’m also getting my house ready to put in the market. Which reminds me…
anyone know how to patch a wall?

do you need a little help?
Wow this is going to be some adventure I wish you happy times and all the adventures you can cope with, hope you will let us know how it goes. Love your work it's beautiful
ReplyDeleteYobokity, Thanks! I'm very excited about it. Would love some help, actually. The hole is a little too big to fill with toothpaste, which is what I usually do. You can't beat it. It's cheap, and freshens the air at the same time ;D

Krishenka, thanks so much. I like how you put that, "all the adventures you can cope with." It reminded me that even the bad will be an adventure to learn and grow from. When you look at it from that point of view, the idea of traveling alone is not quite so scary.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely keep you updated.

I see how this is. You don't call your dad; I have to find out what's going on by reading your blog. LOL. I know you will succeed in your new adventure.
ReplyDeleteKris, I can't wait to start reading about your VanLife! The recent trip you took tells me you are going to really thrive as a Vantramp!
